Oopbuy QC photos: compare the option, details and measurements
Use QC photos to take a closer look at a find: match its version and color, compare visible details and read any photographed measurements. Start by identifying whose item you are viewing. Seller pictures, public past-order photos and your own Oopbuy order photos each help with a different part of the choice.
Three photo types, three different jobsThree photo types, three different jobs
| Photo type | Use it for | Match it to |
|---|---|---|
| Seller's product picture | Exploring the style, design and advertised options | The product page and selected option |
| Public photo from a past order | Comparing the visible shape, details and measurements of a buyer's item | The product reference, version, size or color, and date if available |
| Photo of your own Oopbuy order | Reviewing the item received for you against your selected option | Your order identity and the selected option |
A past buyer's photo is most useful when it shows the version you are considering. Your own order photos are the place to review the item received for you.
Match the version, color and size first
Example: a spreadsheet row names a black jacket, version B, size L. The linked photos show version A in size M. Use those pictures for the general style, then look for a version-B L photo or chart to compare the width of the option you want.
Read the accompanying option note as closely as the picture. Resolve an option/photo mismatch when the row, selection and photograph disagree.
Once the option matches, move to the details that matter to your choice: pocket position, fastening, trim or the attached size label.
Put the photo date and visible details together
A date helps you connect the image to the buyer's comment. When the product page names a newer version, compare the version notes before using an older image. If the date is missing, begin with details you can match directly, such as the fastening or pocket layout.
For color, compare several views where available. For dimensions, find the ruler's unit and the start and end points, then compare that measurement with the chart for your selected size.
Read measurement endpoints and chart units before comparing a photo measurement with a size chart.
Use your own order photos for the detail you need
When warehouse photos appear for your Oopbuy order, match the item, color and size label to your selection. Read any visible measurements against the chart you used when choosing it.
Need a particular detail? Oopbuy describes a Custom QC service for measurements and visible details, including garment width or insole length. Name the view or dimension you need: “flat chest width, measured between the underarm seams, in cm” is more useful than “better QC.”
No public photos for this find?
Begin with the selected option, size chart and product description. See how to handle missing QC photos for the distinction between finding a past buyer's image and looking for photos of your own order.
Keep these photo limits in mind
A past-order image shows that buyer's item; lighting, camera processing and your screen can change how color appears. Photos alone cannot authenticate a product or establish its performance in use. For sealed items, read the inspection limits for sealed goods before requesting an interior view.
