What sealed-item QC can actually show

An intact seal can leave the detail you care about out of view. Separate exterior condition from contents and function before relying on a QC photo, and check the applicable inspection scope before asking for packaging to be opened.

The listed sealed categories have a specific boundary

The listed sealed categories have a specific boundary

Oopbuy's published inspection guidance names “CD,” “handmade” and “adult products” with sealed packaging and sealing labels or strips. For those listed conditions, it says the packaging is not opened for inspection: only the appearance can be checked for damage, while interior details and functional issues cannot be specifically verified.

“Handmade” is the wording used in that category list. Do not assume it covers every handmade object. Likewise, the rule is not a blanket statement that every sealed perfume, underwear pack or other packaged item receives the same treatment. Ask which rule applies to the exact product and packaging.

Read the visible information on its own terms

What a photo showsWhat you can compareWhat remains out of view
Outer labelPrinted option, quantity or model wordingWhether the contents match the label
Seal and package exteriorVisible seal condition, dents or tearsHidden surfaces and internal damage
Front and back of a boxDifferences in printed presentationOperation, performance or authenticity

A box that looks tidy is useful information about the photographed exterior. It is not a functional test. Even a clear model label on a specialist electrical or digital product does not replace the separate limitations Oopbuy states for that product category.

Match the question to the accessible detail

Suppose you want to know whether a sealed package contains a particular accessory. A photo of the outer contents list may confirm what the packaging says is included. It cannot count a concealed accessory. Write that distinction into your buying decision instead of treating an unreadable interior as a successful check.

For ordinary selected specifications, Oopbuy describes checks of quantity, colour, size and related details, with exclusions. A size-label match is still different from a garment measurement, and neither guarantees personal fit.

Before changing the seal condition

Find out whether opening is permitted and what it would mean for that item's return eligibility. Do not assume an extra-photo request authorizes opening, a functional test or a reversible change to the packaging.

Use return eligibility for the seller, condition and order-stage questions. If your main uncertainty is whether a picture belongs to an earlier buyer or your own item, start with photo types instead.
