Compare Oopbuy shipping routes by what they accept

The lowest displayed shipping price is useful only if that route can carry your parcel to your destination. Start with the contents, then the package limits, then the charge. This keeps a tempting estimate from becoming the wrong comparison.

Oopbuy's estimate interface asks for destination country, product type, weight in grams and dimensions in centimetres. Those fields explain why a friend's quote for an apparently similar order may not apply to yours.

CheckDetail to compareWhy it changes the decision
DestinationCountry and any address-area restrictionsA route can serve one destination but not another

Keep the inputs identical when comparing eligible options. Changing the product type or omitting packaging dimensions creates a different estimate, not a cheaper version of the same shipment.

Branded items need their own check

A brand name in a spreadsheet is not permission to ship the item. Do not infer acceptance from another shopper's parcel, a seller's willingness to sell, or the fact that a route appears in a general list. Confirm the selected route's treatment of the actual goods and destination before relying on its price. Carriage acceptance is also not authentication or a customs-clearance guarantee.

Liquids and batteries change the contents question

For perfume, identify the contents and bottle capacity rather than describing the parcel simply as an accessory. For an electronic item, establish whether it includes a battery, and whether the battery is installed or separate. These are questions for the applicable route's restrictions; changing the description to a less specific category does not change the contents.

If an item is excluded or its acceptance remains unclear, pause that route comparison. Ask which condition applies to the item before committing to a shipping option. No single line can be treated here as accepting every liquid, battery or branded product.

Once you have eligible routes for the same parcel, compare the remaining shipping cost components. For the specific difference between scale weight and a space-based charge, read billable weight.
