Find your row without losing your place on a phone

On a narrow screen, the photo, price and comment can disappear in different directions. Start with the category tab, find a short keyword, then keep the row number or label in view while you check the option. Save that context before opening the destination.

Read one row across, not several rows down

Read one row across, not several rows down

A wide spreadsheet may put names on the left and sizing notes far to the right. Before swiping sideways, note the row number and a distinctive part of the title. Follow the same row as you move; a nearby comment can easily look as though it belongs to the wrong image.

Look for these fields in order:

  • Item name and the actual link cell.
  • Colour or version, followed by the size discussed.
  • Saved price, quantity and currency.
  • Comment and its date.

If the publisher has frozen headings or the first column, use them as your reference. If not, save a brief note such as “navy zip top, M, ¥120, short body comment” before leaving. This is an illustrative note, not a current find.

Search the document you are actually viewing

Use the viewer's search or find control when available. Start with an item type such as “zip hoodie”; try a shorter term if the title uses different wording. Browser find and a spreadsheet viewer's search may cover different amounts of content, so a missing match is not always proof the document has no relevant row.

Check the active tab as well. A shoe query in a clothing tab can produce an unhelpful result, especially if the viewer searches only the current sheet. Search terms shows how to narrow or broaden a query without losing the important detail.

Open the link, then compare the selection

Some viewers select the cell on the first tap and expose its link on a second action. If a tap opens an app chooser or the wrong screen, keep your row open and use phone link troubleshooting.

Once the destination loads, compare its selected option with your saved note. A phone handoff that opens the correct listing can still leave a default size or colour selected.

Do I need an app?

Reading these guides does not require an app, and a browser can handle ordinary public sheet links when the document permits it. A document viewer may offer its own app for convenience. That is separate from whether an Oopbuy account feature needs a particular interface. Do not install an unknown app just because a sheet row tells you it is required to unlock a find.
